Issue Severities

Under this menu point, the severity levels for the weighting of issues can be defined. This allows the severity of an issue to be named according to company requirements and due dates to be stored.

The default severity levels are initially stored with A, B, C, where A is the most severe, B is preselected as the default for new issues and C has the lowest prioritization. Editing or deactivating these default severities is possible via the context menu (See below).

Add new severity

A new severity can be created using the "+". Besides a unique identifier, a meaningful title has to be defined. In addition, it is possible to define which due date is stored by default. This date shows the days/hours/minutes how much time is available to correct the issue and by when this must be done.

Via the context menu (the three dots) further actions can be done:

  • Display: Display and open the severity level.

  • Edit: Edit and change the severity level

  • Move: Shifting changes the order of the displayed severity levels. This order is also reflected in the deficiency detection.

  • Disable: Severity levels can be deactivated, but not deleted. If severity levels have been disabled, they are still stored with previously recorded issues.

  • Default: A severity can be defined as the default and is preselected during issue recording.
