Test objects can be selected by the following options:

  • Scan data code: Instead of manual selection, the test object can be selected using "Scan data code".

    • A test object that has a bar/QR/datamatrix code can be scanned and is automatically selected.

    • A valid QR code is required to use QR codes in Testify. The test object identifier and the stored text in the QR code must be identical.

  • NFC: The NFC functionality makes it possible to read in NFC tags in order to select the test object. The prerequisite for this is an NFC reader.

  • Search: Here you can search for the Test Object you want to display.

  • No test object defined: In this section you can find all issues that were not assigned to any test object by the author. They are categorized as “Overdue“, “Current” and “Past”.

  • Recently used: Recently used test objects are displayed here to simplify the search process.

Test object overview

After selecting a test object, the user is shown an overview of the respective test object.

In addition to the title, description, parent and components, you can find the checklists, issues, check collections, files and custom information assigned to the test object by navigating to the corresponding button.

These tabs are only displayed if you have the authorization to list other checklists / issues than your own.

Checklists

The checklists are divided into the categories "Overdue", "Current" and "Past". When navigating to the overview, you can directly start a new checklist by clicking on the orange button in the lower right corner.

Issues

Issues are divided into the categories "Overdue", "Current" and "Past". When navigating to the overview, you can directly add an issue by clicking the orange button in the lower right corner. When exporting issue protocols, you can select whether subcomponents should be included in the export. The export is possible in three variants. For this purpose the feature" For user/group restrictions on test objects or test object types include sub-components " must be activated in the company settings of key users.

  • Test object

  • test object incl. subcomponents

  • Only subcomponents of the test object

Check collections

All check collections assigned to a test object are displayed under Check collections. A check collection can contain one or more check categories.

Under the desired check collection, an overview of all underlying check categories, the stored restrictions and the protocols is displayed first. By clicking the button at the bottom right, the most recently verified examination results that are used for the protocol can be displayed.

Meaningful PDF protocols can be created for each test object on the basis of check collections. These show an overview of all test results per check collection of the selected test object. The last test result of verified checklists is used. Beforehand, it is necessary to define the desired check categories for the checks within the checklist template. The Plus can be used to create a new check collection. To do this, define a meaningful title and select the desired check categories. Likewise, these can be restricted to checklist templates. This makes it possible that only checklists with these templates are considered.

Files

Files and photos can be added via the administration area, creating a solid information center.
