To edit a checklist in offline mode, a few precautions must be taken.

Preparation in online mode

There are 2 possibilities for this:

  • The checklist to be edited has already been opened / started by the user, then the connection is terminated.
    → The user can continue editing the checklist without any action in offline mode.

  • Download the checklists to be edited in online mode for later use.

Important: You must start Testify while online - but you can minimize the app.

Offline mode

In offline mode, checklist editing and issue management is possible.

  • Testify App
    In offline mode, all offline features are available to the user. Ffeatures that are only available in online mode are grayed.

  • The app remains open in the background (normally it is closed via the home button).
    In offline mode, all offline features are available to the user.

Data synchronization in offline mode & when closing the app.

Offline data is stored in the index database on the device and automatically synchronized in online mode.
