Execute checklists online (Training)

A new checklist can be started via "Execute checklist".

First, the test object must be selected. The test object describes the object for which the checklist is to be executed. This is possible manually, by means of a data code scan (bar/QR/data matrix) or NFC.

The prerequisite for the NFC functionality is an NFC reader.

 

 

By clicking on the hierarchy button on the right, it is possible to navigate through the hierarchy of test objects when running a checklist. This is particularly useful if a complex test object hierarchy exists in the Testify environment.

 

A checklist template must then be selected. All checklist templates that are permitted or globally available for the selected test object are displayed.

After selecting the checklist template, select the following:

  • Assigned to

  • Due date

  • Assign

  • Run Now

The checklist is started using "Run Now". Now individual checks can be executed.

If a check has been successfully completed, the message "Test successful" is displayed with a green background.

The orange arrow confirms the test and jumps to the next check. The check is also confirmed by clicking in the user interface.

If a check that has already been completed is to be repeated, this is displayed again by clicking on it. The orange arrow deletes the previous check result and the check can be executed again:

 

 

 

Checks can be commented and photos can be added, confirmed with "Comment". After adding it can be edited by clicking on the color roller in the upper right corner and cut, rotated and graphically edited as desired.

Multiple comments can be added. Confirmed comments cannot be deleted or changed again. Comments are visible in the PDF protocol by default, but this can be disabled via the company settings.

If a check fails, a message with a red background appears, such as "Value too low/high" or "Test failed".

An issue can also be added to a check. This is possible via "Record first issue".

Note: In the "Quality Manager" role, adding an issue within a checklist is disabled by default. Issues can be added manually via the "Add issue" tab.

When creating an issue, an overview is displayed where all details about the issue can be added. Various properties can be defined to describe and categorize the issues.

If all required fields have been filled in, the "Save" field is highlighted in white. By selecting this button, the issue will be created.

After saving the issue, the issue overview appears. From this overview, all important information on the issue can be called up.

The arrow at the top left takes you back to the test overview for the last completed check. The added issue is now displayed.

If an issue has already been recorded in a check before, you can accept it if it is the same issue. "There are similar issues" is displayed. Clicking on "Show latest similar issues" opens the previous issues. This can be adopted via the context menu on the right:

 

 

If a check is repeated several times when executing a checklist, previous results can be selected from the test history and used again.

If all checks have been carried out, the processor (user or group) can be determined with "Assign". "Close" closes the checklist, which can then no longer be edited. With "Exit", the checklist remains in the status "In progress".

A warning appears before the checklist is closed.

 

An overview of the completed checklist is displayed. From there, all important information about the checklist can be accessed. Under Details, you will now find all the details of the check that has been carried out in the timeline.

 

The context menu of the checklist offers the following options depending on the current state of the checklist and on the user's rights:

  • Continue

  • View

  • Assign

  • Close

  • Reopen

  • Verify

  • Remove

  • Subscribe

Clicking on the "Issues" field will display all the issues that have been created in the checklist. These are divided into "Overdue", "Current" and "Past":

By clicking on the desired protocol, a PDF protocol of the checklist can be generated. A message is sent via the notifications as soon as the PDF has been created. Meanwhile, it is possible to continue working in Testify.

By refreshing the page, the checklist is ready and can be downloaded as a PDF:

 

The timeline shows status changes and assignments of the checklist. The date and time of the actions are also displayed on the right side. In addition, comments can be added above the timeline.
