Equipment types and equipment are used to document the tools used when performing checks in order to identify any faulty tools used in the event of issues. The measuring equipment type determines a specific group of measuring equipment that is systematically linked to each other. Any number of measuring tools can be added to each device type (hierarchy comparable to test object types).
