What is an Equipment (type)?

Equipment types and equipment are used to document the tools used when executing checks in order to identify any faulty tools used in the event of issues. The equipment type determines a specific group of equipment that is systematically linked to each other. Any number of equipment types (e. g. measuring tools) can be added to each equipment (e. g. device type). The hierarchy is comparable to test object types.
