Preparation

Pro 1 (Checklists, Issues) must already be completed for this module.

Practice: Testify

Start Testify with the following user: Quality Manager [firstname].qualitymanager@training.demo

Step 1: 4 Create checklist templates (using the "Quality Gates" example)

New Checklist Template: QG 1 - [firstname]

Description: Mechanical structure

New test case: Calculation

  • Title: Calculation check

  • Description: Calculation check

  • Function: Custom

  • 3 Labels (A, B, C)

  • Formula: (#value_1# + #value_2#) * #value_3#

  • Name of the result: cm

  • Done

  • Go through all the options in the menu on the right and enter the following parameters for formatting:

    • Unit: cm

    • Decimal places: 1

New Checklist Template: QG 2 - [firstname]

Description: Final assembly

New test case: Numeric

  • Title: Numeric Check

  • Description: Numeric Check

  • Label: Thread overlength

  • Ready

  • On the right side of the menu, go through all the options and make the following settings:

    • Parameters for formatting:

      • Unit: mm

      • Decimal places 0

    • Parameters for validation:

      • Ceiling: 10

      • Floor: 2

      • Warn-Ceiling: 8

      • Warning-Floor: 4

      • Setpoint: 6

      • Additional warning note: Attention!

New Checklist Template: QG 3 - [firstname]

Description: Commissioning

New test case: Logical

  • Title: Logical Check

  • Description: Logical check

  • Ready

  • Go through all options in the menu on the right and make the following settings:

    • Label (Option1): cleaned

    • Label (Option 2): dirty

    • Quick input of test case result: Activate

  • Context menu of the test - Save template

    • Title: [firstname]

    • Description: [firstname]

New Checklist Template: WAP - [firstname]

Description: WAP

→ The [firstname] check template saved earlier is now displayed as a possible check type in the drop-down menu. Delete this via the context menu.

New test case: Photo

  • Title: Photo check

  • Description: Check photo

  • Ready

  • Go through all options in the menu on the right and make the following settings:

    • Equipment type: [firstname] Image sensor

New test case: File

  • Title: File check

  • Description: Check file

  • File restriction:

    • Maximum number of files: 5

    • Minimum number of files: 1

  • Ready

  • Go through all options in the menu on the right and make the following settings:

    • Equipment type: [firstname]Image sensor

Step 2: Template settings for checklist template WAP - [first name].

Open the template settings via the context menu of the checklist template and enable the possibility to add signatures when closing/verifying a checklist

Step 3: Publish all 4 checklists

Step 4: Tags

Add the tag "Test" to each checklist via the context menu
