"Bundle and execute" is a feature that makes it possible to use a checklist template for several test objects at the same time. This starts a separate checklist with the same checklist template for each selected test object. The created checklists then open side by side and the execution of the checklists is possible.
The number of test objects is freely selectable. Any number of test objects can be selected for which a checklist with the corresponding checklist template is to be started simultaneously.
This feature is also available if checklist templates are restricted to test object types in the template settings (Not possible at test object level).
Key users can activate this feature through the Testify Customer Success Team.
Options:
When setting up this feature, you can choose between two options:
Always start new checklists: When executing checklists via "Bundle and execute", a new checklist is always started automatically.
Continue existing checklists, if possible: When executing checklists by "Bundle and execute", already existing checklists will be continued, if available. Within this option, both open and closed checklists can be used.
Example: Bundle and execute
(Preselected option: Always start new checklists)
After activating the feature, the new field "Bundle and execute" appears on the left.
Via barcode/QR code/DataMatrix code or by manual input any number of test objects can be selected. It is also possible to show the recently used test objects in order to select the desired ones.
"Get available checklists" shows an overview of all checklist templates available for the selected test objects. Click on "Run Now" to start the checklists.
Now the checklists are ready for execution. The test object highlighted in orange indicates that this checklist is currently being executed. Clicking on the test objects with a gray background opens the respective checklist. You can also jump to the next checklist by clicking on the blue "Continue" button.
After the checklists have been completed, they are confirmed by the checkmark in the upper right corner.
An overview of all checklists appears for checking before they are left, assigned or closed.
After closing the checklists, they can be displayed in the Checklist search.
