Practice: Testify

Start Testify with the following user: Quality Manager [firstname].qualitymanager@training.demo

  • Click on Manage Checklists and select the published checklists. At the context menu of the checklist
    "[firstname] Incoming Goods Inspection" select "Periodic Assignments".

  • Create new periodic assignment

  • Title: Weekly Goods Receipt Inspection

  • Test object type: [firstname] Type XY

  • Assigned to: [firstname] Tester

  • First due date: Wednesday after next at 08:00

  • When should the checklist be assigned? 2 days prior to scheduled execution at 09:00 a.m.

  • Repetitions: Weekly on Wednesday

  • End: Never

  • Save

  • Deactivate the periodic assignment just created

Under Administration - Workflows create 3 workflows with the following parameters:

  • Scope: test object

  • Type: created

  • Filter:

    • Test object type [firstname] Type XY

  • Save event

Action

  • Scope: checklist

  • Type: create

  • Parameters:

    • Test object: activate toggle (fallback)

    • Assigned to: [firstname] tester

    • Created by: [firstname] Quality Manager

    • Checklist Template: QG 1 - [firstname]

    • Due date: 7 days, 12:00 p.m.

  • Save Action

  • Save workflow

 

Workflow 2 [firstname]

Events

  • Scope: Checklist

  • Filter after change:

    • Test object type: [firstname] Type XY

    • State: Done

Practice: Testify

Start Testify with the following user: Key-User [firstname].admin@training.demo

Create a new test object with the following parameters under Administration - Test object type [firstname] Type XY:

  • Identifier: [desired number]

  • Title: [firstname] Machine YZ

  • Description: Year of construction [year]

  • Custom field [firstname]_serial number: [desired number]

  • Icon: Add photo

  • Save

→ The workflow is now triggered

  • Logout

Start Testify with the following user: Quality Engineer [firstname].issueengineer@training.demo

→ A notification is displayed that a new checklist has been started and assigned

  • Open the checklist either via the notifications or View tasks

  • Start and complete checklist

→ A new notification appears that another checklist has been started and assigned

  • Open and start checklist either via notification or View Tasks

  • First enter 11cm, then 10cm, then 3cm and finally 6cm and observe the respective warnings

  • Complete the checklist

→ A new notification appears that another checklist has been started and assigned

  • Open and start checklist either via notification or View Tasks

  • Quick entry is possible without opening the check completely (template settings)

  • Execute checklist and close it

  • Logout

Start Testify with the following user: Quality Manager [firstname].qualitymanager@training.demo

→ 3 new notifications appear that the 3 checklists have been completed by [firstname] Quality Engineer. Note: The WAP checklist that is now assigned to the Quality Manager User will not be displayed because it was assigned by the user.

  • View Tasks - Current - Open WAP Checklist and execute as follows:

    • Select equipment

    • Upload photo

    • Upload 5 files

    • Complete and sign checklist

View test objects

  • Select [firstname] type YZ

  • Open checklists → All checklists just executed are displayed under "Past"

 

Workflow History

Practice: Testify

Start Testify with the following user: Key-User [firstname].admin@training.demo

Open Workflow 3 [firstname] under Administration - Workflows. Open the history via the context menu and view all information and links contained therein.
