Dear Testify Key Users,

We are pleased to present our Testify Release Updates v5.9.0 with new improvements for an optimal Testify experience.

This release includes an update to our design library. As a result, the user interface appears more modern, and the displays are overall clearer and more pleasant to use.

Check dependent on test result 

Similar to dependent sections, individual checks can be set to depend on other test results.

Regex validation for text check

For text checks, it is possible to validate using the regex principle.
(e.g., serial number with 3 digits (SN-123) as regex: SN-[0-9][0-9][0-9])

Description on the first page of the combined PDF

When creating a combined PDF, it is possible to define free text for the first page.

Enable encryption of HTTP headers for webhooks

To enable webhooks with authentication methods or similar, key-value sets can be marked as secrets to store the data encrypted.

Videos in Testify

In addition to issues, videos can now also be uploaded for issue tasks and test objects.

Format of images in PDFs

The format of images is now preserved in PDFs and not vertically aligned.

Periodic assignment history

The periodic assignment history shows when a periodic assignment was changed.

Comment when deactivating test objects

When deactivating test objects, a comment can be written.

Approval process for checklists

The approval process for checklists has been made clearer. The protocol clearly shows who created, reviewed, and published the version. The creator and reviewer must be different users.

Bug fixes and UI/UX improvements

Optimizations have been made to further improve the stability and performance of the software.
